On MIRYOKU and HOTARU SHIBA
miryoku/hotaru shiba each want one thing: to win.
winning for miryoku means that there is, after all, no one better than she is, and there is no reason left to live. but for shiba, a mortal foxgirl, if she succeeds, then it means that she can "have" miryoku, who will be bound to her and obey her like a bird on a red string.
the binding means that miryoku is bound to obey shiba's will as heaven's will, which means that if shiba gives her a command she cannot disobey (i.e. "stop / don't kill yourself / you are forbidden to kill yourself")
so miryoku is bound by shiba's "law" as "heaven's law" if shiba wins
